Phi Sigma Rho, a sorority for STEM students at UCSB, will be hosting a hands-on STEM education event in partnership with Girl Scouts! The event will be structured in a station format-- we will have ~6 experiment-based stations focused on fields in biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and medical science! We will be splitting the girls into small groups and rotating through the stations in these groups. Activities will be led by our members, who represent a wide range of STEM majors. Experiments will include strawberry DNA extraction, "elephant toothpaste" (exothermic foam volcano), circuit building, and more! We will also be discussing STEM pathways/careers and answering any questions the girls have! 

Fee: $10.00 includes a patch
