Troop Camporee and Adult Outdoor Training

Prior to Part A training all adults must have completed Stepping Out Training.

Attention Leaders!  Have you ever wished you could get your Adult Outdoor Training and bring your troop camping at the same time?  This is the event for you!  This unique training/camporee begins with an online (zoom) training.  You can choose from two dates to attend.  Then you can bring your troop (Open to Juniors and older) with you to Halvorsen Woods for a camporee.  Volunteers will work with your troop teaching them outdoor skills.  They will also create their own skit to perform during our evening campfire program! Leaders work with our Learning Facilitators to learn the skills to lead a safe and girl-led camping trip.  Every person in attendance will receive a dunk bag and rope to practice their knot skills.  Every troop will build and take home their own box oven.

All adults must have current Stepping Out certifications.  Volunteers attending the Adult Outdoor Training must attend both Part A and Part B.
