Hey Girl Scouts,

Join us for the sea otter experience of a lifetime with Sea Otter Savvy! Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors Girl Scouts are invited to use their citizen scientist skills to learn more about the sea otters at Morro Bay. After kayaking which gives you a better view of the sea otters you will be doing some citizen scientist field work on and. All girls will earn their "Think Like a Citizen Scientist" badge!

Note: All girls must have photo permission in order to participate in this program! Parents and/or a troop leader/adult will need to stay with girls for the program in order to transport them to each activity.

There will be 3 kayaking spots for an adult to register for. All other adults will wait on shore during the kayaking portion of the program.

 

Got GSCCC Credits? You can use your girl or troop credits to register for this program.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we want to support families while also ensuring our programs run smoothly. Refunds & Reschedules • Requests must be submitted at least 3 days before the program start date. • All requests must be submitted by creating a case through info@girlscoutsccc.org. • If approved, you may choose a refund or a reschedule/transfer to another available program. Less Than 3 Days Before a Program • Refunds and reschedules are not available if requested within 3 days of the program start date. • Exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency) may be considered for a transfer only. Refunds are not provided. Reschedules/Transfers • You may transfer to another program of equal or lesser value (no refunds are given if the new program costs less). • Transfers to a higher-priced program are allowed only if the payment difference is made at the time of transfer. • Once a registration has been rescheduled, it is not eligible for a refund later, even if the new program falls within the 3-day window. Council-Initiated Changes • If we cancel or reschedule a program, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another program.
