Hey Girl Scouts!

Get ready to explore, discover, and adventure at Elkhorn Slough—one of Central California’s most amazing wildlife habitats! This experience is all about hands-on fun in nature.

Kick things off with an exciting nature scavenger hunt, where you’ll search for hidden treasures and learn to spot the small (and sometimes surprising!) details of the ecosystem around you. Then, join a friendly docent-led tour to uncover fascinating facts about the plants, animals, and habitats that make this wetland so special. After your outdoor adventure, continue the fun by exploring the Visitor Center, where interactive displays bring the environment to life and help you dive even deeper into what you’ve discovered.

This program is a perfect fit for Girl Scout Eco badge work—helping you learn how to protect our planet while having tons of fun along the way!
