What do you see—and what’s really behind it? In this eye-opening and empowering Journey, Cadette Girl Scouts will explore the messages behind the media they see every day: in movies, ads, music, social media, and beyond. Through reflection, discussion, and creative activities, girls will learn to ask big questions: Who made this? Why? Who’s being included—and who’s being left out?

Scouts will also take action by creating their own media with purpose—whether it’s a video, zine, podcast, or social campaign. With critical thinking, creativity, and courage, girls will walk away ready to challenge stereotypes, lift up true stories, and use their voices to shape the media of tomorrow.

Cost: $10.00

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change, and we want to support families while also ensuring our programs run smoothly. Refunds & Reschedules •Requests must be submitted at least 3 days before the program start date. •All requests must be submitted by creating a case through info@girlscoutsccc.org •If approved, you may choose a refund or a reschedule/transfer to another available program. Less than 3 days before a Program •Refunds and reschedules are NOT available if requested 3 days of the program start date. •Exceptional circumstances (eg., illness, emergency) may be considered for a transfer only. Refunds not provided. Rescheduled/Transfers •You may transfer to another program of equal or lesser value (no refunds are given if the new program costs less) •Transfers to a higher-priced program are allowed only if the payment difference is made at the time of transfer. •Once a registration has been rescheduled, it is not eligible for a refund later, even if the new program falls within the 3-day window. Council Changes •If we cancel or reschedule a program, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another program.
