Get creative with color, texture, and design in this hands-on printmaking workshop at Art Central in San Luis Obispo! Using Gelli plates, girls will explore the art of monoprinting—a fun and endlessly experimental process that combines paint, pattern, and imagination. Participants will create a collection of unique prints that can be turned into greeting cards, holiday or birthday decorations, or framed works of art.

Through guided instruction, they’ll learn how to layer colors, use stencils and found textures, and experiment with composition. Whether you’re aiming for bold graphic designs or delicate abstract patterns, no two prints will ever be the same!

Perfect for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts, this workshop encourages artistic freedom and creative confidence—while giving you the chance to take home your own handmade paper art pieces.
