With special guest Detective Ash'lee Grey from the Ventura Police Department Special Victims Unit, this powerful program invites all Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts with their parent or guardian to take part in an important conversation about human trafficking. Together, we will recognize and understand this critical issue, explore proactive measures to help victims, and learn ways to prevent future incidents. This special session is designed to empower Girl Scouts to become informed advocates who can make a meaningful difference in their communities. By working together in a supportive environment, we can shine a light on this pressing global issue and protect those who are most vulnerable.

Please note: Due to the nature of the topics explored, this program is intended for Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we want to support families while also ensuring our programs run smoothly. Refunds & Reschedules • Requests must be submitted at least 3 days before the program start date. • All requests must be submitted by creating a case through info@girlscoutsccc.org. • If approved, you may choose a refund or a reschedule/transfer to another available program. Less Than 3 Days Before a Program • Refunds and reschedules are not available if requested within 3 days of the program start date. • Exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency) may be considered for a transfer only. Refunds are not provided. Reschedules/Transfers • You may transfer to another program of equal or lesser value (no refunds are given if the new program costs less). • Transfers to a higher-priced program are allowed only if the payment difference is made at the time of transfer. • Once a registration has been rescheduled, it is not eligible for a refund later, even if the new program falls within the 3-day window. Council-Initiated Changes • If we cancel or reschedule a program, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another program.
