Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Protect Our Oceans at Carpinteria State Beach
Become an Ocean Guardian for the day as you discover how small actions can make a big difference! Join California State Park educators for an interactive program exploring the growing problem of plastic pollution and its impact on our oceans, beaches, and the amazing wildlife that calls them home.
You'll learn how everyday choices can help protect marine habitats before rolling up your sleeves to make a real difference during a hands-on beach and campground clean-up. Together, we'll help keep Carpinteria State Beach beautiful while learning what it means to be a true steward of our planet.
By the end of this meaningful day of service, you'll have helped protect California's coastline, inspired others through your actions, and earned your 2026 Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch!
This is not a drop-off event—all Girl Scouts must be accompanied by a chaperone. No tagalongs, please.
