Join fellow Girl Scouts in this great opportunity to explore and learn all about the plants, animals and habitats in one of
California’s most popular national parks as well as earn the Junior Ranger Certificate.
Pinnacles National Park gets its name from the rock spires and crags that are seen throughout the park. The Pinnacles
volcanic field eroded over millions of years as it moved northward along the San Andreas Fault. Rock debris in the form of
boulders has weathered and settled, leaving behind spires of volcanic rock and talus caves.
