Earn the Democracy Badge

Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes will explore how democracy works at the local, state, and national levels. Through hands-on activities and discussion, they will learn about the three branches of government and how leaders make decisions that affect their communities. Girls will also discover ways they can use their voices, stay informed, and take part in civic life. Juniors and Cadettes will complete activities toward their level’s Democracy badge.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we want to support families while also ensuring our programs run smoothly. Refunds & Reschedules • Requests must be submitted at least 3 days before the program start date. • All requests must be submitted through info@girlscoutsccc.org. • If approved, you may choose a refund or a reschedule/transfer to another available program. Less Than 3 Days Before a Program • Refunds and reschedules are not available if requested within 3 days of the program start date. • Exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency) may be considered for a transfer only. Refunds are not provided. Reschedules/Transfers • You may transfer to another program of equal or lesser value (no refunds are given if the new program costs less). • Transfers to a higher-priced program are allowed only if the payment difference is made at the time of transfer. • Once a registration has been rescheduled, it is not eligible for a refund later, even if the new program falls within the 3-day window. Council-Initiated Changes • If we cancel or reschedule a program, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another program.
