Whether you’re deep in the woods or exploring a brand-new trail, strong navigation skills can turn any Girl Scout into a confident pathfinder. In this adventurous patch program, Juniors through Ambassadors will learn the essentials of finding their way using maps, compasses, and modern tools like GPS. Scouts will practice reading topographic maps, plotting courses, following bearings, and mastering orienteering challenges that test their ability to navigate in the wild. It’s all about building confidence, spatial awareness, and teamwork—because knowing where you are (and where you’re going) is a skill that lasts a lifetime.
