Camp Artemis Is In A Box this year! Camp Artemis will be virtual this year due to the uncertainties of Covid-19 in an overnight and backpacking camp platform.  Although we cannot be under the Santa Cruz Mountain redwoods this year, Camp Artemis will be providing exciting, spirited, and fun content for campers to engage in with our ALTA youth staff members via the Internet! As a virtual camper, your child will learn and improve their leadership skills with our live leadership competency discussions. Your camper will also be engaging in spirit activities, songs, and related crafts. Outdoor skills will be tackled in a new way. Your daughter will learn outdoor cooking, fire building, and knots/lashings. Opportunities will include small group discussions and check-ins with campers and their families. Please join us for 2021 Camp Artemis In A Box! Our ALTA Youth Staff have been planning for this and we can’t wait for your camper to be with us around the virtual campfire!

2021 Camp Artemis In A Box begins Sunday, July 25 and ends Saturday, July 31. Each day will start at 9:30am, break for lunch between 12pm to 1pm, and end at 3:30pm. The cost of Camp Artemis In A Box is $80. Your camper will receive the camp box the week prior to camp and it will include a Camp Artemis t-shirt, Artemis patch, Artemis medallion, kits for each day’s activities, the week’s agenda, and an Artemis handbook.

Your camper must be a registered Girl Scout but any girl is invited to attend. The Girl Scout registration fee of $25 will be separate if not already registered and will be good for the coming year. Girls must be entering 4^th to 12^th grade.

Parents and campers will be invited to an informational orientation about Camp Artemis In A Box once your camper is registered.

Note: Your camper may be included in photograph or video formats but NO names will be used or posted.
