Join Woods Humane Society to learn about exotic pets, local wildlife and how we and our pets can help local wildlife!
• Find out about wild animals - Learn about feral cats, African grey parrot, local wild birds like hawks and owls
• Investigate an animal habitat – Learn about parrot and tortoise habitats
• Create an animal house – Learn about the cattery and design your own cat house or animal shelter
• Explore endangered habitats and help protect animal habitats – Discuss leashing dogs, picking up poop, keeping cats indoors to protect birds, TNR to control cat populations, not using rodenticide or other chemicals that can harm the environment, plant honey bee gardens, recycling and reducing plastic use
