DESCRIPTION:Lions & Tigers & Bears - Oh My...what a great time we will have! \n  \n  \n Get ready to go WILD on an unforgettable adventure at the Monterey Zoo on Saturday, August 22, 2026! From amazing animal encounters to hands-on activities, this is a day packed with exploration, discovery, and Girl Scout fun! \n  \n  \n Kick off your adventure with a guided zoo tour, where you’ll come face-to-face with incredible animals and step into the lush rainforest exhibit—who knows what you’ll discover along the way?  \n  \n  \n After the tour, head over to the picnic area to connect with GSCCC staff for fun, hands-on activities that tie into Girl Scout animal badges—or take a break, enjoy your lunch, and swap stories with your fellow Girl Scouts. \n  \n  \n Then, the adventure continues… spend the afternoon exploring the zoo at your own pace and revisiting your favorite animals! \n  \n  \n Schedule of the Day: \n  \n 10:00 – 11:30 AM | Guided Zoo Tour (includes rainforest exhibit) \n  \n 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Picnic Badge-Aligned Activities (or relax and enjoy lunch) \n  \n 12:30 PM & beyond | Explore the Monterey Zoo on your own \n  \n  \n Don’t miss this ROAR-some day of animals, adventure, and Girl Scout sisterhood—we can’t wait to see you there!  \n  \n  \n Sorry, no tagalongs - this is not a drop off event. \n  \n  \n Cost $30 (Girl Scouts receive custom fun patch) \n  \n  \n Got GSCCC Credits?
