DESCRIPTION:Attention all Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors in the 2025-2026 Girl Scout year: \n  \n KALEIDOSCOPE SKILLS DAYS are coming to your area! Get a head start for Kaleidoscope 2026, April 17-19.  \n  \n  \n Try out fire building, compass/maps, knots, camping, and lashing skills. Girls get a patch and a small snack and girls and adults get a practice rope. You have the option to camp overnight in the Southern hub at Camp Arnaz. Space availability on a first registered, first served basis. If camping in the Central Hub becomes available, notice will be sent out in mid-August. \n  \n  \n Come away with a desire to learn more outdoor skills and to have fun at Kaleidoscope! \n  \n  \n WHEN AND WHERE: \n  \n CENTRAL HUB: \n  \n Halvorsen Woods, Lompoc \n  \n October 18, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm  \n  \n  \n Cost: \n  \n $10.00 per girl \n  \n $3.00 per patch for adults, optional \n  \n $5.00 per person for camping, additional \n  \n  \n Bring your lunch, re-fillable water bottle, and a chair (adults) or sit-upon (girls). Campers supply their own equipment and food. If camping in the Central Hub becomes available, notice will be sent out in mid-August. \n  \n Background checks needed for adults attending for day only; mandated reporter (AB 506) required for camping adults. \n  \n  \n Trainings necessary: \n  \n Stepping Out – coming for the day only, one person or more per troop \n  \n Outdoor Training – camping, one person or more per troop \n  \n First Aid/CPR – one person per troop \n  \n  \n Deadline to register:  September 19, 9:00 pm.  No refunds after deadline. \n
