DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Alpha Omega Epsilon and Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast. \n  \n  \n One of the core elements of STEM is engineering. An engineer is a person who designs and builds products, machines, systems, or structures. They want to know how and why things work.  \n  \n  \n  \n In this engineering challenge, we will have each Girl Scout build a small catapult and compete to see who can launch an object the farthest. After our first round of testing, each Girl Scout will have the opportunity to improve upon their design and compete in the final round of the competition! Plus, we'll send out patches after the event with a super fun design! \n  \n  \n Fee: $10 - Fun Patch Included  \n  \n  \n Additional questions?
