DESCRIPTION:What creatures can be found flitting around Camp Arnaz at night? Bats! Don’t be afraid of them. Bats are pollinators for the flora and eat the pesky mosquitos that snack on campers. Bats need a place to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy – just like you! \n \n \n Join GSCCC for a Friday Family Fun Night to celebrate Day of Caring by adopting a bat at Camp Arnaz! Your family will have the opportunity to build and stain a bat box that will be hung up around camp. \n \n \n Bring a picnic dinner, blanket to social distance on, hammer, clothes that can get dirty, and high energy and we will have the rest! \n \n \n Registration includes: \n \n \n - Bat box kit - Wood stain - Fun Patch - Supplies for staining \n \n \n \n \n \n Visitors agree to the following Camp Arnaz COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines \n \n \n - Stay home if anyone in your household is sick or has exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 in the last two weeks. \n \n \n - Must wear a mask during check-in and when in common areas such as restrooms and parking facilities, or in any area where unable to physically distance from members outside of your own household. \n \n \n - Avoid shaking hands, bumping fists or elbows, and other physical contact with other groups. \n \n \n \n \n \n Visitors must be prepared for potential guidelines changes or canceled reservations as industry guidelines change. Camp operation must comply with all Cal/OSHA standards and is subject to change to adhere guidance from local authorities as well as guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). \n \n \n \n \n \n Programs are open to registered Girl Scouts. If you do not have a current membership, click here for more info. Adult membership information can be found here. Membership renewal information can be found through this link.
