DESCRIPTION:Junior and Cadette Girls will enjoy time at Live Earth Discovery Farm! \n  \n  \n  Girls will explore the farm, learning about sustainable and regenerative agriculture; what it means for food to be organic vs. non-organic; old vs. modern cooking practices including preservation; and different flavors of  produce and herbs and how to incorporate into meals. \n  \n  \n Girls will: \n  \n  \n Meet farm animals, \n  \n  \n Harvest seasonal items \n  \n  \n Learn a farm skill \n  \n  \n Make a friendship salad, eat lunch and have some free-play time \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Programs are open to registered Girl Scouts.
