DESCRIPTION:For the second session of our Girl Rising Series we will be focusing on Sustainable Development Goals and how they help people around the world. Our guest speaker will be SLO Mayor Heidi Harmon. \n  \n  \n Wear warm comfortable layered clothing and closed toe shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle and snacks.  \n  \n  \n While this event is open to all age levels the curriculum it is designed for Juniors and up. The films we will be watching often are in a different language and have subtitles.  \n  \n  \n Girls will not be earning their Global Action Award or World Thinking Day Award, but this series are intended to support your girls in earning these awards. \n  \n  \n No pets. \n  \n This is not a drop off event. \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Programs are open to registered Girl Scouts.
