DESCRIPTION:Registration extended to 9-25-19 at 10:00 AM.   \n  \n  \n Backpacking Overnight Training & fun time at Forbush Camp \n  \n  \n Learning by Doing! \n  \n  \n Have you ever wanted to try backpacking?  Learn from other Girl Scout leaders how to safely backpack with a group of girls in this fun overnight backpacking trip. \n  \n  \n We will provide (you help carry) backpacking gear: backpack, tent (solo), sleeping bag & pad, kitchen, meals, water filter, first aid/emergency gear. \n  \n  \n All you need to supply is your personal items and snacks! \n  \n  \n The hike is less than 2 miles each way.  However, there is a big uphill on the way back. \n  \n  \n Campsite includes a pit toilet and picnic table. \n  \n  \n Pack check on September 22, 2019 at 12:45 PM.  GSCCC Goleta Office \n
